Grocery List

I have had a countless number of people ask me what I buy at the grocery store so I decided to make a list for all of you 🙂 I hope this helps you to make healthier choices next time you go grocery shopping! Also, I don’t buy all of this at once! This is just an overall list of what I eat and I will probably continue to update it!

Carbohydrates
  • Ezekiel Bread (Found in the frozen section – I buy sesame and raisin cinnamon)
  • Ezekiel Wraps
  • Corn Tortillas
  • Brown Rice
  • Quinoa
  • Couscous
  • Beans (I normally buy black, garbanzo, pinto and kidney beans)
  • Oats (Not the little packs!! Soooo much sugar! Just the plain, old fashioned oats)
  • Kashi Cereal (I enjoy the cinnamon squares)

 

Fruits
  • Watermelon (My fav!!)
  • Berries (All kinds)
  • Bananas
  • Grapefruit
  • Apples (I like macintosh and pink lady)

  • Dried Fruit (I really only eat raisins and cranberries…look for added sugar and try to keep the portions small. I buy mine at Whole Foods and Earth Fare and they don’t have added sugar!)

  • Cheese/String Cheese (I occasionally eat whole fat cheese but stick to the portion size if you choose to go that route)

  • Cashew Butter
  • Chia Seeds
  • Flax Seeds
  • Nuts (Unsalted/Raw) (I buy almonds, cashews and walnuts the most)
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Coconut Oil

 

Extras
  • Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
  • Unsweetened Coconut Milk
  • Hummus
  • Crunchy Chickpeas (Wasabi flavor)
  • Pickles
  • Hot Sauce (Be careful with sodium)
  • Honey/Agave
  • Shredded unsweetened coconut
  • Mustard
  • Spices (be careful about salt)
  • Fresh Herbs (Basil, Cilantro, Thyme and Rosemary)
  • Flour (coconut flour and oat flour)
